Community-Based Shared Housing for Women 50+

Flourish Homes creates safe beautifully designed shared living environments where independent women 50+ can experience comfort, connection, and a true sense of community.

Safety. Connection. Community.

Women 50+ deserve more than a place to stay.

Many women over 50 are navigating housing challenges while also facing something we don't talk about enough: loneliness.

They may be independent. They may have income. They may still be vibrant, active, and full of life.

But they don't want to do life alone.

Housing matters. But so does connection, comfort, dignity, and community.

That's the gap Flourish Homes was created to fill.

A shared home built around safety, connection, and community.

Flourish Homes provides community-based shared housing for independent women 50+ who want a stable, comfortable place to live while being surrounded by meaningful connection.

Our homes are thoughtfully designed to feel warm, stylish, and lived in, not institutional.

This is not just housing. This is a place to belong.

A program of Life Vision Foundation, Inc.

Flourish Homes is a community-based housing program of Life Vision Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to creating supportive, dignity-centered solutions that help people live with greater stability, connection, and purpose.

Through Flourish Homes, we are addressing two real challenges at once:

• the housing crisis affecting women 50+

• the loneliness and isolation many women experience later in life

We believe women deserve housing that feels safe, comfortable, and connected.

Meet the Flourish Homes woman

She is 50+. She is independent. She is vibrant, kind, curious, and still choosing to live fully.

She enjoys:

• travel and day trips

• learning new things

• meaningful conversations

• connecting with like-minded women

• having her own or shared space while still being part of a community

She values her freedom. But she doesn’t want to do life alone.

Flourish Homes is for women who want a shared living environment that feels respectful, comfortable, and community-centered.

Cozy, comfortable, and stylish living

Each Flourish Home is designed to feel elevated without feeling untouchable.

Our homes are created with comfort, dignity, and daily living in mind.

Participants can expect:

  • well-appointed bedrooms

  • comfortable furnishings

  • warm, inviting shared spaces

  • natural light and soft textures

  • clean, peaceful common areas

  • a calm, respectful home environment

Not luxury for show. Comfort for living.

A place to belong

Flourish Homes is intentionally designed to reduce isolation and create real connection.

Participants live alongside women in a similar season of life who value independence, respect, and meaningful community.

  • Connection may look like:

    • shared meals

    • conversation

    • outings and day trips

    • learning opportunities

    • gardening and food sustainability

    • simple moments of everyday support

Community is not forced. It is gently built into the rhythm of the home.

Why Flourish Homes

was created

We didn't start Flourish Homes because we simply wanted to create housing.

We started it because we kept seeing the same gap: women who needed a safe place to live, but also needed connection, comfort, dignity, and community.

A home should be more than a place to sleep. It should be a place where you can exhale. A place where you feel respected. A place where you can be independent without feeling isolated.

Flourish Homes was created to bring that experience into reality through thoughtfully designed spaces and intentional community.

Because every woman deserves to feel at home.
